The latest dividend report from Börsen-Zeitung shows that shareholders of the largest corporations in Switzerland are once again receiving big payouts. But for how much longer? And what about executive salaries?

Investors in German stocks are looking forward to some generous dividends in the current season. Allianz, Munich Re, Siemens, and Deutsche Telekom are among those with high and usually stable payouts.

Of the 40 Dax stocks, 23 are increasing their dividends, and many companies have provided a positive surprise with their increases. The Deutsche Telekom AGM on 9 April marks the beginning of the busy payout season.

Dax and MDax companies will pay out a whopping 61 billion euros in the current dividend season. The biggest three payouts come from Allianz, Deutsche Telekom, and Mercedes-Benz Group.

Despite declining profits, dividend payouts for Dax companies reach a new record this year. According to EY, the 40 Dax companies are paying out 53.8 billion euros to their shareholders.
